During the holiday season we offer gift certificates for tours of the Central Texas area and introductory flight lessons.  Another favorite is just before deer season when hunters who would like a better view of the deer "lease". When shopping for a helicopter tour several important items need to be addressed.  Number one is: Does the tour operator follow all Federal Aviation Regulations concerning Air Tour Operations?  Brazos Helicopters does follow all regulations for Air Tours and all personnel are under an FAA mandated drug test program.  Number two is: What is the experience level of the pilots flying and the company as a whole?  Brazos has been engaged in air tour operations since the late 1980s and only employs experienced helicopter pilots.  Number three is:  Is the aircraft safe and suitable for the tour?  Our aircraft are rigorously maintained by Brazos Helicopters own maintenance staff and are chosen for their safety record, cabin comfort, and passenger visibility.  Remember, why take a tour in a helicopter you can't see out of, the tour is for the view!  Read about our Alouette II, turbine powered, and Bell 47, piston powered helicopters.
